How much is a "service call"?

Alot of times the first question our new customers ask when they call is "how much is a service call? We don't charge for service calls, we just charge for the amount of time we are actually working at your home or business.

Alot of plumbers have hidden fees like "trip charges" and "drive time", which basically means you are paying for the gas it took them to get to your place and the labor it took to drive there ?<:")*&?? Umm..O.K?

We have a flat rate of $105 an hour with a one hour minimum. That means that it will cost you a minimum of $105 for the first hour and any additional time is divided into quarter hours and billed. The national average is between $99 and $150.

We pride our selves on being efficient and getting your work done as quickly as possible so we can move onto the next customer. The only additional cost you might incure is any part or material we use or install on your job site. These will be itemized on your invoice. Also, no work begins until you are given a quote before the work is started. We give free estimates and at that time you have plenty of opportunity to decide if your plumbing is in your budget right now. Call us if you have any questions and we will be happy to give you a quote!!

On Demand, Instantaneous, Tankless.. whatever you call it, it gives you HOT WATER RIGHT NOW!

Advantages of Tankless Water Heaters...

Endless Hot Water
Never take another cold shower again! Rinnai tankless water heaters heat water on demand, so you’re never limited to a fixed pre-heated supply as with a tank. You’ll enjoy hot water when you want it, for as long as you need it. Take a shower, wash dishes and do laundry all at the same time!

Energy Costs
With Rinnai tankless water heaters, you’ll enjoy up to 40% energy savings. That’s because our units are designed to be highly efficient and only heat water when it’s needed. When the demand for water ceases, the unit shuts down and uses no energy, a revolutionary advantage over inefficient tank-style heaters.

Performance and Longevity
With a Rinnai tankless water heater, you get the durability and reliability of a commercial-grade copper heat exchanger and an industry-leading 12-year limited warranty on the heat exchanger. Plus, Rinnai tankless water heaters have a typical life span of 20 years or more installed in residential applications, up to twice as long as a tank.

Clean, Fresh Water
When using a traditional tank-style water heater, rust and scale build-up can collect in the interior of the tank, where the hot water you use day-to-day for bathing and drinking is stored. With Rinnai tankless water heaters there is no tank to store water, so you’ll always experience fresh, clean hot water because this unit heats water on demand as it passes through the unit.

Space Savings and Flexible Installation Options
Reclaim precious space in your home. Traditional tank water heaters can take up to 16 square feet of valuable floor space. However, Rinnai tankless units-about the size of a carry-on suitcase- can be installed on virtually any wall inside or outside of your home.

More Capacity
Meeting increased hot water demands can be a challenge for traditional tank-style heaters, however, with Rinnai’s innovative technology you’ll never run out of hot water.

Rinnai units can be used individually, in pairs or in banks of three or more for residential, commercial and multi-family applications.

Peace of Mind
With Rinnai tankless water heaters, there’s no tank to leak or break, thus reducing the risk of flooding. Plus, Rinnai offers a line of controllers that make it easy to set water temperatures precisely for multiple locations in your home to ensure comfort and prevent scalding accidents

Tip: Water bills are awesome!

Look at your water bill. By comparing monthly usage figures, you may get tipped off to a small leak before it becomes a big problem. Major, unexplained fluctuations in your water bill are definate signs of water leaks.

Question: "Should I use that drain cleaner stuff if I have a septic system?"

Answer: No, One reason... the most common, over the counter drain cleaners you by at the grocery or home improvement stores are mostly composed of bleach. Bleach kills bacteria, and bacteria is a septic systems best friend. Bacteria is what disposes and basically eats all the waste in your septic system. The best thing to do for a clogged drain is to call your local plumber (ME!, 972-318-3800) and get him/her to use a drain auger to clear the blockage... Thanks for your question Lisa/ Lewisville
